fake information is better than no information

With media today we can find out all sorts of information at a blink of the eye. It is great and makes staying in the loop so easy. With this though, we have people who also make up information and put it up as truth. With this prevalent is it still a plus? Should we still look for that information the same way? Or is this a reason to start to push that information away. I really think it is something we should embrace. Some say ignorance us bliss, but I would take misinformation rather than no information. Thus is something that social media is so popular for doing. It gives us a false sense of credibility, but that is still more information than we had before. Be true or not, it is new. I just think that anything new is better than nothing.
